2005 Chateau St Jean Chardonnay Belle Terre Vineyard 750ml - $17.99
Wine Advocate, Jan 2007, 93 points: "The 2005 Chardonnay Belle Terre Vineyard exhibits abundant notes of honeysuckle, white peaches, and apricots in its medium to full-bodied personality. With terrific freshness, purity, and length, it should drink well for 4-5 years."
JJ Buckley, Jan 2008: "Bright lemon yellow color. Apricot and ripe yellow pear aromas are followed by sweet vanilla oak. The front of the palate is dominated by peach, and the oak is much more subdued. Apricot joins the peach with a touch of citrus. Good acidity and medium-bodied with a nice lingering fruit finish and a touch of cream." - Mike Supple
